Scenes from Lotte Reinegger’s silhouette animation masterpiece: The Adventures of Prinz Achmed, a classic Arabian Nights tale with a live score performed by Don Kipper and Arabic Belly Dancing performance.

Don Kipper’s repertoire spans a variety of eastern styles and music from several countries in the Balkans and the North Mediterranean regions. They are a London-based quintet dedicated to performing music of eastern and gypsy origin. The music is linked principally by its energy and comprises a broad spectrum of moods, modes and rhythms within any individual set. Don Kipper are joined for this show by tribal belly-dancer, Hannah Mi whose spiritual approach to movement compliments the diverse sounds of the group. The night will also include scenes from Lotte Reinegger’s silhouette animation masterpiece: The Adventures of Prinz Achmed, a classic Arabian Nights tale with a live score performed by Don Kipper.
