What are you doing on the first Sunday of the month? Easy, you’re coming to Bal Virevolte at Jamboree! An informal night of twirling around on the bohemian planks of our favourite venue. We’ll teach you a few steps to get going and then you’ll be free to spin all evening to Bal Virevolte House Band Follow The Rats. Come alone or with friends, there will always be someone to show you the steps!

French Bal has a variety of dances, from Breton line dances (those ones with the little fingers) to whirling waltzes, enough for anyone to find their heart’s desire. The House Band for Bal Virevolte  Follow the Rats was founded by Cassandre Balosso-Bardin, it explores dance music from all around music including France, England, Sweden and Spain.

Bal Virevolte also invites bands from around the UK to play their repertoire of Bal music for your feet to dance to.
