Devil’s Doorbell, featuring Nipper Lewis (Tenor Banjo, ukulele, Kazzumpet and vocals) and Jellylegs Johnson (Washtub Bass, Heel Tambourine and Vocals) bring the cheeky side of 1920s jazz in their own unique skiffle cabaret style, with homemade instruments alongside tenor banjo, growling vocals and an impressive amount of dressing up, The band live and travel on traditional narrowboats, performing at festivals and busking wherever they moor up along the canal.
