A Swinging Sunday night with Elise Roth & her 9-piece swing band the Harvard Squares! Perfect music for swing dancing! The band will also be celebrating the release of a live album, recorded here at Jamboree in March 🙂

Songstress Elise Roth grew up listening to the likes of Judy Garland, Helen Forrest, and Ivie Anderson. Known for both her expressive vocals and her authentic presence, Elise has charmed audiences internationally, from swing dances to supper clubs to vintage events. She’s always delighted to introduce lesser-known songs to listeners and dancers alike. Appearing today with Elise are her Harvard Squares, a 9-piece band with all original charts, consisting of some of the best players of swing and early jazz in London. The band’s new live LP will be available via Bandcamp on the day of the show.
