The Folktales World Music night presents an Afro-Latin fiesta filled with live music and dance!

Tonight’s headliners are Latin-Jazz maestro Juan Pablo Barrios, a Venezuelan-born pianist, composer/producer and percussionist, and his quartet. The band are well-known for their exciting style of play, their melodies laid on firm foundations of rhythms common to the dancefloors of South America and the Caribbeans. With a mix of both originals and masterful reimagininings of some of the greatest Latin classics, the band promises wave after wave of inexpressible exhilaration and sheer exuberance!

Support comes from the 9-piece Audio.sync Collective, who’s diversity creates a rich tapestry of sound, blending genres such as Afrobeat, Dub-Reggae, Jazz, Funk, Salsa, RnB, Soul, Afro-punk & Folk-fusion! The result is a high-energy, eclectic and danceable sound experience. Following a series of incredible live shows in Brussels, the Afro-groove collective is geared up to lift spirits, move your feet and bring a good o’l sing-along!

DJ Carlitos Nino will also keep the dancefloor moving  with his selection of Latin beats and more. Be under no illusion, this is a PARTY – COME READY!
