A New Years Eve for unleashing the rebellious spirit of flapper girls found vampishly dancing the night away with snake hip fella’s to the sounds of hot and wild jazz! Its the year 1929 and Mr and Mrs Hunk Bottles invite you to join us and celebrate in style the grand opening of our Herbal Medicine shop ‘Bottles of Chinatown’… and what better night to do it than on New Years Eve! We will be pulling out all the stops with an array of jumpin jack’ remedies and herbal intoxicants.
We have a real host of treats in store with performances from international and local stars of music, dance and film making things truly wild into the early hours of the morning.
We are very lucky to have OLD HAT JAZZ BAND play for us from the late hours of the evening till the early hours of the morning with their quintessential sound of New Orleans Jazz! With a youthful vitality and playfulness they spread dance-crazy energy and wicked amounts of fun!
Velveteen voice’d blues powerhouse WEDNESDAY GRAY who has been compared to the likes of the ‘Empress of Blues’ Bessie Smith will be opening our New Years soiree!
