Headliners for tonight Green Diesel are a passionate ensemble of musicians who create a thrilling spectacle that injects a shot of adrenaline and youthful exuberance into the traditional folk sound. Support are Norwegian-Scotch whisky-drinking ethereal folk warblers Sea Foxes.

GREEN DIESEL

Raised on the classic folk-rock sounds of Fairport Convention, Oysterband and The Albion Band, the band’s rich sound draws on a wide range of influences, as funk and klezmer sit side by side with Morris tunes and ancient murder ballads. The band’s traditional folk instruments combine with virtuoso electric guitar to smack audiences with a glorious, big sound that they can’t help but leap about to.

SEA FOXES

When the wings broke off their old band in late 2014, Karina and Yvonne set sail under the new guise of Sea Foxes, thus firmly cementing a North Sea alliance of Norwegian-Scotch whisky-drinking warblers, making songs that are built upon ethereal harmonies and laced with soul.
